Wayne has the unique gift of connecting with middle school and high school students to bring them to a powerful encounter with Christ. Striking humor, unique energy, and altar ministry are fortes of his presentations. He is a versatile speaker, able to coral the rowdiest public school crowd through humor and tough love, and later communicate a simple gospel message. At the same time he is also able to take students deeper in their quest for God in a camp or convention setting through worship, teaching on the Holy Spirit, and evangelism. Last year he spoke to over 100,000 students in the U.S. and abroad. After spending years in drug abuse and running from God, his own intense conversion helped to shape his ministry focus of reaching and changing the destiny of the lost and broken. Wayne is co-founder of Answering the Cries with his wife Kristi, and together they serve as Missionary Evangelists on staff with The Oaks Fellowship in Red Oak, Texas. They have two precious children, Libby and Lincoln, who mean the world to them.
