Preparations are in full swing for this year's outreach! Whether you're a returning individual or team, or you've never been...we encourage you to check it out and pray about joining us in New Orleans next February. Mardi Gras is one of those highly impactful weeks, that you won't easily forget!  If you're looking for the bottom line - here's everything you need to know to start planning your trip...dates, location, payment and cost, registration and other important details, it's all here!

Outreach Dates:

February 9th-13th 2018 (Friday through Tuesday)

  • The outreach will begin with Registration on Friday from 3-6pm. Hotel Check in is at 3pm. (Note: you’ll receive your hotel keys and room assignments at ATC registration, rather than the hotel front desk!)
    • On Friday, The outreach will begin with dinner at 5:30pm, Opening Service and Orientation will begin promptly at 630pm.
    • The outreach will conclude on Tuesday evening at approximately 530pm. (We will serve dinner immediately following for any teams who wish to stay. We understand some may need to be on the road at 530pm.)
  • Please contact us if you feel your travel needs will not fit within this time frame on Friday, i.e. if you want to come but will need to arrive late or depart early, so we can accommodate these needs.

The Cost:

$375 per individual ($405 per individual after January 30th) which includes the following:

  • Hotel Lodging (4 nights at the Country Inn & Suites Metairie, LA, 4 to a room)
  • Meals and snacks (Friday evening through Tuesday evening)
  • Outreach materials, training and speakers
  • T-shirt and supplies
  • Team Leaders: Any leader bringing a team of 5 or more, will receive a $100 off their cost, for a team of 10 or more $200 off, and for a team of 15 the team leader will come for free. Please contact us with questions.
  • Those participating as ATC Staff or Support Staff, please contact us directly about cost.
  • If you have adults on your team who want to come serve behind the scenes with our support staff (kitchen or facilities crew) please contact us for details.

Ages:

Minimum age of 17, or Senior in High School and older!  We will leave any exceptions up to you as a the team leader. Mardi Gras Outreach is a place for those who are mature and committed to Christ and is open to youth and young adults!

Payment and Registration Deadlines:

Payments: A minimum payment – 50% of your total registration is due on December 31st. This will serve as a deposit and guarantee your place at the outreach. Full payment is due on or before February 9th.   

Late Fee: after January 30th a $30 late fee will apply to ALL applicants. (This will cover the cost of securing insurance, materials and housing for changes to registration).

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations can be made after Registration is submitted, however you will still be required to pay $200 per cancellation  (the hotel portion) if the cancellation is made after January 12th. Transfer of registration is permitted.

Additions can be made to your team, if space allows, you may use the form on this page to add another individual(s) or contact us directly. A late fee will be added after January 30th.

After January 30th there are no guarantees to transfer registration, or add participants.

Lodging:

We have secured hotel rooms at the Country Inn and Suites (Metairie, LA). Unlike previous years, our space is limited. We encourage you to complete your registration as soon as possible, as we will only be able to accept your team based on availability and space. If you need to make changes to your team list after you have sent it, please contact Heather Lyles directly.

Reminder: In order to ensure lodging (hotel rooms) for your team we will need a deposit (50% of your registration) by December 21st  2017.

Rooms will have 4 participants each in them, unless late accommodations are made. We will do our best to keep your team together. Requests for rooms with less than 4 should be sent directly to us, and will require extra payment to cover the cost.

Medical Release:

Each participant (leader or student) must have a notarized release form. You will need to print the Medical Release Forms (click) and distribute these to your team. The good news is that we do not need these until the outreach. – These forms must be NOTARIZED. A notary public can be found at most public banks,  or your church may have one on staff. Remind your team that they should not sign the form until the notary public directs them to.

– If you have an individual who is a Senior in High School, but under age 18, please be sure that they use the “minor” form, requiring a parent or guardian signature.
